Americans Wake Up: Vote With Sanity

It’s about freakin’ time! What the hell has America been thinking these past 6 years allowing a GOP that is more like the Taliban than an American political party stay in power?

Well, Americans finally got sick of it and finally decided to make a change from corrupted, immoral, power-hungry, fear-mongering, war-mongering, bigoted, anti-freedom dingbats to people who value civil rights, peace, diplomacy, fair economic policies, funding education, religious freedom for all, and for fixing Iraq as much as possible and leaving.

I was hoping for a minimum of 20 seats in the house, we got at least 28, with a few still undecided. In the Senate, if the recounts in MT and VA don’t find anything too out of whack, we should take both of those and Senate control.

So, for two years at least, we won’t have to worry about seeing new Amendments to the constitution saying certain people aren’t equal (didn’t we fight an entire civil war over similar things?!), or legislation that tries to ordain conservative Christianity as our national religion to the dismay of other Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc. Hopefully, some of the tax laws will be modified so that giant corporations like BP or WalMart which pay essentially no tax at all will finally do their fair share (or better, just dissolve the IRS and start over with a new tax system). Something must be done about our healthcare system, health care is truly becoming a thing only the rich can afford. We should pass new fuel efficiency standards for vehicles, there’s no reason any car should get less than 30 miles per gallon.

Enough, suffice it to say that I’m happy. Now, back to waiting for my 171H approval!!!
