Nice, long weekend
Thanksgiving was lots of fun this year. I went over to my Mom and Dad’s around 10AM and helped my mom cook and hung out with my sister, who is in from college. My brother and his family came over around 3:30 and we ate around 5:30. Then my cousin and his wife and daughter came over for dessert. The kids were so much fun, Caitlyn, the 4 year old kept cracking up at the little prehistoric squirrel in Ice Age. My sister brought her brand new kitten home with her and all of the kids were fascinated, every ten minutes they wanted to go see the cat…poor cat!
On Friday, we all met at the mall to shop together and my sister and I went to Babies R Us to put more stuff on my registry (and there’s a still a few things on the Target registry that BRUs didn’t have). I think it’s pretty well populated! Everyone is so excited about Parker. My sister is going to throw me a baby shower, which is cool. I also worked on my dossier over the weekend. Pretty much I just need my 171H and then I can get everything certified and send it off.
Beyond that I think I’m mostly going to just relax the rest of the weekend, except for my soccer game Sunday evening.
