I had my ankle x-rayed yesterday just to make sure there wasn’t anything really wrong with it. They took three different pictures of it, and my ankle/foot is exquisite according to the doctor…a model of good bone formation and placement. There was a little damage to the lateral malleolus (the little bump on the outside of your ankle), but not a fracture. It should heal completely within another few weeks.

I’m really liking my new comcorder. It’s takes amazingly clear video. I just can’t wait until I have a little to film! I bought an extra battery for it yesterday off of eBay. That will ensure I don’t run out of juice when in Vietnam.

I went over to my brother and sister-in-law’s home last night. I stopped over to check out Sydney’s eye, which had some swelling and redness under it. Sydney is one of their two dogs. It didn’t look too serious, and was draining a little. I told her to just keep some triple-antibiotic ointment on it for a couple days, and if it didn’t look better to go to the vet.

I had dinner there, and then got to play with my neices for about 45 minutes. Samantha, 7 months old, is trying to crawl, smiling and making lots of noises now. After seeing her for a few minutes I went upstairs with Caitlyn (4), and Lauren (almost 3). I got them in their pajamas, we read a book and then danced to Gloria Gaynor and The Lion King soundtrack. It was lots of fun.
