Still a long week, but nearly over
My house has nice hardwood floors everywhere but the kitchen and bathroom. That will be changing tomorrow. I am having carpeting installed in my bedroom and in Parker’s room. It will be welcomed by all. Lexi will certainly like having more soft places to lay, it will help keep those rooms a little warmer in the winter, and it will provide a nice place for Parker and I to play without having to worry about hitting his head on the floor. Overall, a good move for the house.
Next week I am having my house appraised because I am refinancing. I should save about $120 a month on my house payment starting in May, which will be very welcome. More money in my pocket is always a good thing, especially with my son on the way soon.
I got my very first baby shower gift yesterday. It’s the world’s coolest diaper pail, it is motion activated. You wave your hand over the top of it and the lid opens for you to drop the diaper in. No need to touch the diaper pail 10 times a day…works for me!
I am hoping to travel in 4-6 weeks, and I am so anxious to go. I cannot explain in any verbal form how excited I am.
