Thursday in Hanoi
Parker is napping, so I thought I’d do a quick blog entry.
Monday we arrived in Hanoi. We’ve done quite a bit of walking around the city, seen a few of the sites. The Temple Of Learning is my favorite here so far.
This city is notably different from Danang and Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). The people aren’t quite as friendly, and so far I’ve found little in the way of shopping. Hopefully the Old Quarter will have better shopping.
Our in-country facilitator is flying up today from Saigon, and we may have our second interview today or tomorrow. If it is today, I will probably go on the Halong Bay tour with the other family in our group. I am looking forward to that, for sure.
Parker An is doing great. He is very good at letting me know when he’s hungry/tired/dirty, and besides that is a very playful, loving little boy. He loves to cuddle, and likes to snuzzle with a blankie at bedtime.
