A Little Parker Update

Parker is doing great, he turned 15 months old this past Sunday. He is just blossoming so much and is so curious. He is starting to use words more; his most commonly used words are more, dada, ball, bubble, mmmmmm, button, bird, and eye. He loves making the monkey sound. He likes books and will bring me books when he wants to look at one with me, and sometimes I’ll find him sitting in his room looking at one by himself. He likes to point to pictures and have me say what each is. He likes to roll the ball back and forth with me. He loves to giggle and laugh, and it’s still pretty easy to get that response from him.

He is still eating most anything I give him. He even still likes almost all vegetables and fruits, except asparagus. He will eat green beans or carrots until he pukes (don’t worry, I’ve never let him go that far).

Sometimes he likes to wear his jacket or a hat, and he will bring them to me and indicate that I should put them on him.

He has come to appreciate Lexi (our Great Dane) for her true value - furniture! When Lexi is laying down her body is the perfect level for Parker to sit on, and he avails himself of this opportunity whenever possible. Thankfully, Lexi is the kind of dog that you could do pretty much anything to and she doesn’t care at all.

He likes to brush his teeth. At night, usually I will brush his teeth for him and then give him the toothbrush and he’s puts it in his mouth and just kind of wiggles it around.

I’ll post some pictures soon.

As I’ve told you a million times….I truly appreciate the updates on Parker especially since he and Derek are the same age. It helps me to know what my som may be doing right now and prepares us for what to kinda expect when we finally get to bring him home. Please keep posting for me!!! And….the pictures better come soon!!! LOL!!!
