Parker has taken to loading up this basket with stuff and then saying “Byeeeeee”, as he walks around the house with his haul. It kind of reminds of some of the street sellers in Viet Nam.

Today Parker and I went to the fair with my brother and two of my nieces. We saw all sorts of animals and had some yummy fair food. We all had a really great time. Here’s some pictures.

Parker has been using words for a while, but something clicked in his brain this week. He has been picking up words like crazy this week. In the last couple days he’s started saying the following without prompting:
bucket
tractor
máy kéo (tractor in Vietnamese)
ambulance
rocket
blueberry
mouse
nước (water in Vietnamese)
powder
yellow
bươm bướm (butterfly in Vietnamese)

Parker has always loved phones – what kid doesn’t?!
Now, he will pick up my phone or a toy phone and he says “bup-bup”…”bup-bup nigh-night”. “Bup-bup” is what he currently calls his grandpa.
It’s hilarious to watch and listen to.
