Parker Rides The Train
Parker An is completely enamored with trains of all kinds. His grandpa is a complete train enthusiast – some of my very earliest childhood memories are of my dad and his trains. His entire basement is filled with a huge train layout – I’ll post pictures sometime.
I had been wanting to take Parker on a real train for a while, and this past weekend finally did that. We are lucky to live where the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is, and they have train trips several days a week.
We took a trip that is 45 minutes from Akron to a little city where we had lunch and Parker An to to run around. Then 45 minutes back to Akron – the station is only about 10 minutes from my house.
