Amazingly, it really took off last year and this year gave lots of pears. I've never had luck with cucumbers - something always goes wrong and I get these nasty little things that taste gross. I had a tomato plant this year that gave me all of four plants. I think it was more interested in its leaves. My cucumbers looked pathetic too. Looks like you did a good job!
