Seventy years ago the first really public and violent assault on Jews was made by the German state. It was a horrible night – hundreds were killed, temple’s burned, people shipped to camps, lives destroyed. It was but a small preview of what the Nazi’s would do in WWII. The rest of the world stood by.
Never doubt how easily something like the holocaust can happen when a few with extreme ideology take hold of power, even elected leaders like Hitler.
And, to the hate monger LDS church that spearheaded the California Prop 8 amendment in California…leave the Jews alone! Trying to baptize my dead ancestors? Despicable!

I am already upset that people are trying to over turn Prop 8 but, now also trying to baptized holocaust victims….
I try not judge any faiths but come on……
I hate the thought of my daughter growing up in a world where there are so many people full of hate for others. And considering she has 2 gay uncles (who I hope get married one day) I try my darndess to teach her to respect every person no matter what.
