Days of The Dragon

Snow, You Suck!

We got our first snowfall earlier this week, about 4 or so inches. Supposed to get another inch today and maybe 2-4 more tomorrow.

Ok, winter, we’ve said hello and now I’m ready for Spring!

The Vietnamese word for snow is tuyết, pronounced kind of like too-yit, but sometimes sounds more like twit or tweet depending on who’s talking. It is also a somewhat common female name in Viet Nam.

Parker An made up his first song this morning. I was getting him some grapes and he started singing “grapey grapey, grape…grapey grapey, grape” – he included the requisite head and torso swaying, as well.
