Yes, peaceful. When you see your children like that, sleeping peacefully, it’s a little difficult to fathom that they’ll be little firecrackers when they wake up. What a sweet, sweet, little boy.
It was two years ago today that I held Parker in Vietnam. I remember telling him the little bit that I knew about you and how much you loved him. I told him that you would be there to bring him to his forever home very soon. He was such an observant little guy, and he looked at me so intently while I was talking to him. I’ll never forget holding your sweet baby boy that day. How far he’s come!
