The Far Away Zoo
Last weekend I drove down to Columbus, which isn’t really very far away – only two hours.
We met up with two other families that have adopted children from Viet Nam, and we spent about six hours at the fantastic Columbus Zoo, one of the best in the country. It was a really fun time, the kids completely enjoyed it and all of them were very good. Parker particularly enjoyed Cooper’s company – he’s just a little younger than Parker and they liked hanging out together. Parker was also a little interested in the two younger kids, Sophie and Aiden – both a little over a year old. I hadn’t met those two before…they are both such adorable, adventurous little ones!
After the zoo, we met up with some of my old OSU friends and had dinner at probably the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever eaten at, Moy’s. Whenever in Columbus I make it a priority to stop there – you should, too!
Here’s a few pictures from the zoo
